Cheetham CofE Academy in Manchester wanted to refurbish the Key Stage 2 area and asked Claughtons to consult on bespoke design and installation. 

Our accomplished design team worked with staff to come up with innovative furniture, floor plans, decoration, electrical installation and plumbing work.

As an established supplier of education furniture, our extensive knowledge of the sector meant that we could provide high quality furniture to meet the school’s limited budget. Our team was able to identify what would work well in the space available and understood that mobility and flexibility were key to the design for this individual school. Therefore we opted for mobile pentagonal tables with accompanying, ergonomic chairs in a variety of colours to enhance the working environment.

Soft seating and mobile screens were provided in the breakout area which could easily be moved into the classrooms to provide an area for children to sit and read. Fitted wall storage was installed along with two new ‘media walls’ creating storage solutions in a limited space.
